With over 27 years of experience, Sage Kitchens Design specializes in custom cabinetry, fixtures, hardware, and countertop design for both new and remodeled homes. We work with you to develop functional and aesthetically-pleasing designs that capture your unique needs and personality, that fit within your investment expectations. You can choose from an almost-unlimited range of styles and finishes, as well as numerous appealing hardware options. From kitchens and bathrooms to libraries, bars, and mudrooms, we design the solutions that will set your home apart from the rest.


From initial consultation to final walk-through, we're with you every step of the way. Our design process is uncomplicated, so that we can spend our time with you, developing your custom project. We involve all the right parties, from engineers to contractors and builders, to make sure every base is covered, every detail addressed. Susan Curtis Co-Owner / Designer

Susan created Sage Kitchens in 2005 to serve the Gallatin Valley with high end custom cabinetry and full scope kitchen and bath design. Susan is skillful in her craft; designing kitchens, baths, and all cabinetry area plans to fit her customer's needs that complement their taste and lifestyle. Susan is compassionate and considerate. She listens to clients to truly understand their requirements and project dreams. Her plans provide simple and elegant solutions to allow easy use of both kitchens and full home cabinetry. Susan believes good design is as practical, functional and durable as it is beautiful.


In 2024 Eleanor joined Susan as co-owner and Sage Kitchens was rebranded to Sage Kitchens Design.

Eleanor Austin  Co-Owner / Operations

As a co-owner of Sage Kitchens Design and Sage Tiny Homes, Eleanor is our operations manager, and co-designer. She holds a BA from the Harvard Extension School and comes with over 17 years of project management and operations experience. She constructed our project management system to keep all parties involved up to date on the progress towards completion with careful consideration of each task being performed. She successfully maintains daily operations and is dedicated to achieving accuracy and efficiency in her implementation of our systems. Her responsiveness and excellent communication helps elevate the customer experience and creates lasting client relationships.
